George Scherer is folk singer, performing original tunes, as well his unique versions of the music of the 20th Century. He performs his solo, acoustic, folk-rock and country blues music in clubs, bars, and restaurants around Birmingham, Alabama and the Southeast. With an old-timey feel and a modern sensibility, it is truly "acoustic music for electric times".
